Building a Bridge
The purpose of my lesson today was to propose that there is a connection between music from completely different cultures. We saw that the folk music from the Middle East and popular western folk music could be fused together. What kind of music do you listen to? What styles did it evolve from? If there any connection to the middle eastern music we listened to today? What about a relationship to the fusion music of Free Planet Radio?

I listen to rock and roll music. The Allman brothers song we listened to today is the kind of music that I like to hear.
I have heard people say that rock evolved from blues. I don't really understand how. I think it evolved more from classic rock.
There is no connection to the music I listen and the middle eastern music we heard today in class.
I guess there is more of a connection to the fusion music we heard. At least it had some instruments that I am familiar with.
