A New Experience?
I would imagine that the music we heard in class today was new to most, if not all of you. What were your impression of the Middle Eastern music we heard today? Did your feelings differ when you listened to the Allman brothers song? How did the fusion music make you feel? Did you like it? If so, why? If not, why not?

I have never heard this kind of music before today. It was kind of funny to hear the soloist say the words so fast.
The Allman brothers song was something that I was more familiar with. I love that song!
The fusion of the two types of music was very interesting. It relaxed me. It was nice to hear the mellow part of world music joined with the beat of our music.
